My husband and I practice NFP and use the Sympto-Thermal (FAM) model for TTA. This is the first time I've felt confused by my charting/cycle.
According to my chart my temp shift occurred when I took my temp on Tuesday morning. According to the TCOYF rule, technically I should be out of my fertile phase the 3rd evening my temp was above my coverline, which is today.
My peak CM day occurred on Sunday. Again according to TCOYF rule the evening of the 4th day following CM peak you should no longer be fertile.
Since Monday morning there has been no CM present, even internally. The normal moisture dissipates instantly. The past two days however, when I've made a bowel movement there has been CM that has appeared in the toilet. No other time. It is very sticky, not your slippery fertile quality CM. (I told DH it resembles a booger!)
So, what am I supposed to do? Cervix is hardening, still slightly dilated but definitely closing and hardening again. The past three temps have been at least 3 tenths above the coverline.
I've never experienced this before. Any thoughts?
It would help if we could see your chart. There are bugs in the beta that could extend your fetile phase even when by the rules you are past that point. If you are confident in your charting go with your comfort level. If not post your chart and we can give you our opinions based on what we see and you can go with (again) what you are comfortable with. It may be reassuring to have confirmation of what you are seeing.
since your cf is sticky, I would still count that as not fertile. This is coming from a girl who almost never completely dries up though, I usually have some sticky, booger like as you said.
So I would still just count from the last day you had the fertile type of cf and your temps and not worry too much about the sticky stuff. Hope that helps.
