So I just almost threw up at lunch- so random, HUGE intense wave of nausea hit me.

I'm only 8 dpo (I think) past ovulation, isn't it too early for pg symptom??  FYI trying to AVOID (sort of!) getting pregnant!

Could just be normal PMS symptoms. Do you normally get nauseous each month or is this unusual?

For me, I always got nausea in the lp... I think it's from surging hormones.  And the cycle I got pregnant I had no nausea at all.  But at 6 weeks full on m/s hit.  It's nausea from sun up to sun down.

Everyone is different though.  Did you have a nakie bd close to O I take it?

I usually don't get nauseous like this normally, so it's just very strange.  We DTD on day 10 and Day 17 (temp rise was Day 17, but he pulled out... I hope!)

thanks all

I would say that, in general, 8dpo is too early to experience nausea resulting from a pregnancy.  It would be unlikely, but I would never say never!  At 8dpo implantation may not even have occured yet and hCG levels are probably not high enough to make you feel nauseated.  On occassion, I have a day of nausea in my LP due to changing hormones.

I used to think it was too early too until this cycle:

I did have nausea in cycle 6 from 6-11dpo without pregnancy, but of 36 cycles, 3 with early nausea, 1 resulting in pregnancy, one not, and one being too early to tell, I would say it is abnormal FOR ME.  I also got pregnant on cycle 2 and had no nausea until about 7 weeks pregnant.  I am seriously nauseated this cycle, and have BAD heartburn & reflux starting on 3dpo, and 5-6dpo.  I am waiting to see if it continues, and if so what comes of it.  So, I *used* to think all symptoms before implantation were in my head, until cycle 24.  Google "Early Pregnancy Factor", it is kind of interesting.

I use to think women were nuts that thought they had symptoms before they even missed their periods.  I knew the symptoms were caused by an increase in Hcg and it was just too early.  Only thing I ever noticed before missing a period was waking up at night thirsty.  I've been pregnant 7 times so I have some experience here Smile  That being said, with my last pregnancy I had symptoms well before I missed period and thought I was nuts.  It wasn't something I was looking for so therefore did not talk myself into them.  I had a bad bout of heartburn one night, just one time.  Woke up gagging.  Secondly was I took a bite of my daughters grilled cheese sandwiches and had to run to the bathroom to spit it out and almost tossed my cookies.  That pregnancy I had the worst m/s of all of my other pregnancies.  So I do think can happen before a missed period but not very likely.

I had similar nausea in my LP, 7dpo and 8dpo.  I ended up testing positive on 9dpo.

I haven't had any nausea since.  I hope that you are whatever you want to be!  :)
