My DS is 7.5 weeks and BFing is going well.  We are lucky to have lots of family around who have been watching him so DH and I can go out by ourselves for a few hours once a week. During those times, DS is fed with a bottle either expressed breastmilk or formula and he does fine with this. So when DH and I are out, I have been pumping at the same time DS would be eating. Do I have to do this to keep up my supply? Or if I miss 1 feeding/pumping will that just be OK? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!Smile

I've had no problem missing a feeding here and there. It gets to be a problem when you do it consistently.

Ditto this. If it is ONLY once per week you are ok....you'll just have to make sure you either feed when u get home or pump then so you don't get too full.
