Hi Ladies

My BFP's have been at 11dpo, 12dpo, 14dpo and now 16dpo. There were getting darker until my 16dpo which looks more like my 12dpo. I take it this means the pg isnt going to stick?

Please share any BTDT with me good or bad! I need to prepare myself and DH for whats to come.

TIA

my expired test was lighter the next day... did you take a different pack of tests or an older test?

Ady - 26
DH - 29
Baby Boy - 9/2/08... TTC 6 anovulatory months then 6th clomid cycle BFP!
Baby Boy - 12/18/09... surprisingly quick TTW BFP!
Baby Boy - EDD 10/13/11... surprise (supposed to be TTA) 4 days before O BFP!

For me that was indeed a sign of m/c, but for every story like mine on here, there's 10 where the lighter line didn't mean anything at all and healthy pregnancies progressed.  Fingers Crossed for you!

There is still hope!  You really can't go by darkness of lines.  For my pregnancy the same thing happened -- lines seemed to be getting darker, then one day they were lighter.  It was the same brand test, and seeminly same concentration of urine.  I freaked out, got a couple of betas, and everything was fine.  I'm 17 weeks today!  That being said, the cycle before this PG, I got a super faint BFP at 14 DPO that completely disappeared by 16 DPO.  That was a chemical.  :(

Sadly, if your HCG is not rising (or is falling) there really isn't anything you can do to help.  At this point, you have a couple of options -- keep taking the HPTs, knowing that they may change in color and you're still fine -- get a couple betas, which will tell you definitively if your HCG is rising -- or stop testing altogether and wait it out for a few weeks until you can get an ultrasound or confirmation by your doctor.

I'm hoping for the best for you!  The wait is soooo hard!

Me (31) and DH (42) expecting our first on May 5, 2010!

Thank you so much for your replies Hug

I'm sorry your your losses and Pray you have healthy pg going forward.

I'm not sure what to think now Shrug I poas (well actually 3) this evening and for the 2 FRER the test line was much darker than the control. I also did a digi (Clear blue with conception indicator) and it said pregnant 2-3 weeks, which on Saturday it said pregnant 1-2 weeks so I hope thats a good thing!! Fingers CrossedPrayLuck

Linda,

Looks great! Yes I think to keep your sanity you should probably stop testing. Smile You don't want to try to read too much into the darkness of the lines. Congratulations!

I also never ever use FMU for testing. I agree that your lines from the evening look GREAT!  I wouldn't be concerned about the FMU test at all.  Are you going to have betas done?

Those aren't fading. I never got a blaring BFP either, it all depends on the dye.

I think I'm with you ladies who dislike FMU.

Thanks for all the comments, I'm far calmer today and intend to stay away from the hpt now Laugh

I took a FRER on 15dpr with FMU and it was lighter then my 14dpr PM test. I got all freaked out and took one in the evening and have every evening since. lol My PM tests are darker. That FMU test is quite a bit lighter and gave me an all day panic attack.

Congrats!

My tests got lighter consistently over several days with my chemical, but that doesn't seem to be what is happening to you, I think you are probably fine and the lighter test was not as concentrated urine, or less dye in the test.  Congrats and H&H 9mos!

I think they look fine. I'm sure the test you took had a different dye level than the others so it's not that big of a deal. *hug* Put down the pee sticks and baaack away. ;)
